Awaiting Spring....

O, wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?
~Percy Bysshe ...

There is snow in the forcast, and I am ready for spring!
As an avid gardener nothing says spring like the smell of fresh soil! I long for the day (soon to come, I hope) when once again I can be out playing in my garden.

Until then, I hope you enjoy some of my favorite blooms from last season.

Adding a Little Colour to Winter!

I am so ready for spring!
We have been very lucky and have enjoyed a mild winter. I do have to admit that I have missed having a little snow. At least everything would be white instead of the drab brown we have. So I have decided to add a little colour to my life!

With my camera broken, I have been spending lots of time on Pinterest.

New Beginnings

New Beginnings...........

 Welcoming 2012.
A new year, new beginnings.
I am not one to make New Year resolutions, because I seem to never follow through with them. I have however, sat back and thought about the past year and about my priorities.

This year I took on a second job as an OB nurse at another hospital. I am now working 72 hours a week. I am finding out that it doesn't leave much time for doing the things I enjoy.
I miss blogging, spending time with friends,  family
and everyone important to me.
My poor garden hasn't been touched since July!
I wanted to take a photography class and never got around to it.
My camera is broke and sitting in a bag to take to the repair shop.

This year has also brought many blessings. My family remains healthy.
I have another new grandchild with another (#12 ) due in April.
My youngest son became engaged.
This Christmas they were ALL home for the holidays!

So for the year to come, I want to do more of the things I enjoy.
Spend more time with family and friends.
Enjoy New Beginnings!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
Enjoy all that is important to you!
